Quite literally the only tracks we don't carry that are available in the US market are all managed by Churchill downs. We have also been on the front line on bringing new content to the US market time after time. We are currently working with more tracks to help them distribute their racing to the US and globally.
Apparently 10+ years ago there was some contract dispute. They continue to use this as an excuse to not give us the signal even though the people involved are gone from our company and mostly from theirs.
They do this even though we would pay far higher rates than most ADWs do.
At this point the only possible reason to deny it is anti-competitive business practices, which ends up being bad for the tracks and horsemen as they get far less from the CDI owned ADW than they would from us.

Yes.
One track left the Churchill management group specifically because they were not aware of these type of restrictions. Hopefully more will do the same when they have a chance.
Quite frankly I don't understand why tracks give control of their primary product to a competitor whose best interests many times are the exact opposite of the host track.
Its like Chevy asking Ford to sell Chevy cars and promising Ford they will be the only outlet. Ford can choose where to sell, what price to sell at.... At the end of the day only Ford benefits and Chevy will cease to exist at some point.
An even better question..
Why do horsemen allow it?
Its not just us, there are ton's of missed opportunities to sell track signals out there and many not even competitive.

This is totally not needed in a dwindling industry...

Hi Jason,
Kudos for your ongoing enhancements to your site! By far, the best layout of any ADW that I've seen (especially so since Twinspires is foolishly doing away with the old Youbet Pro Wager Pad.)
As a long time Youbet / Twinspires user, I am now sending most of my play to Amwager. It's a combination of Twinspires total disregard for the player and the great job that you are doing.
One caveat / observation....Yesterday, your site did not list any scratches or changes for the Gulfstream card. Please work on that.
Thank you.

Ya there is a periodic issue with us pulling early changes/scratches from equibase. It is on the to-fix list.

Does anyone use ...WatchandWager.com....the user interface looks pretty nice, and seems to carry most tracks. I am looking for an alternative for Spires, like most.

No.
Oaklawn is not owned by Churchill
The owner is the Oaklawn Jockey Club, Inc.
(Cella family)

I never said they were owned by Churchill.
They doallow Churchill Downs to control their simulcast rights and content pricing though. Whose benefit do you think those contracts are made out for?
Oaklawns and the horsemen? Or maybe Churchill and their ADW?
I just can't envision giving control of your most valuable asset to a competitor being a good idea.

I recommend BetPtc. Instant cash back rebates on most tracks. They carry just about every track imaginable including foreign ones, plus harness and even dog tracks. Easy deposit/withdrawal options. Only negative is they don't have Free PP's. (I'm sure there is a thread on here where many will be happy to help out with that issue).
