By the way, who won the Derby?

That horse will run in the Preakness, right.

I think Max will take a break and we'll see him next in the summer after that ****job.

Tacitus needs to relax, he creates a lot of his own trouble. He ran well and is definitely going to be a factor moving forward.

I wouldn't bet against them in the Belmont. Those were the "stamina guys" in the race.

I wouldn't expect either to do very well in the Preakness, if they even enter.

That wouldn't be their kinda gig. So betting against at such a short distance would be a good idea.

The only good thing out of all this is we should see a full field in the Preakness.

He's good, and as the race was run he was best, but I'm not entirely convinced he's the best horse in the crop. Game Winner and Tacitus ran pretty well given their trips.

Owendale as well, his Lexington was really solid. Might be growing up at the right time.

Gonna be a weird Preakness. Big field with not many derby horses.

Now that I think about it...West is making a mistake by skipping the Preakness. He should sweep the rest of the TC races...and then retire the horse to stud. And I've got the perfect advertising slogan for him:

"MAXIMUM SECURITY! The horse that only the track STEWARDS could beat!"

Interesting. This probably means no court challenge.
