When that Brit quits and leaves the subway in disarray......and the crowds are screaming.......a billion bucks will look like babyshit.

Yeah I care, but only if it involves federal, or my local tax funds. It's clear what direction NYC is headed. It's unfortunate but it's their problem.
I live where I do for good reasons. Read the front page of Fridays and yesterday's Dallas morning news. We're sending another city council person to prison for accepting bribes from contractors. We're talking less than 50k in this case, but she's one in a long line of politicians locally that have been sent to the pen for pocketing money on the sly, or, stealing tax money.
It's what the local folks here demand. Clean it up, or send them to prison. NYC does what they do with their situation.
Gets back to us being a representative republic. Not a democracy. I can't affect NYC and their problems. What I can do, is get with neighbors and make noise about what goes on in my backyard.

Incredible behavior in the sense that there is little accountability when dealing with these leftists. When you approach them with the facts that show they have broken the law they have the standard comeback; you are a racist,sexist etc. a damn shame!
