Check your Bank Account if using Twinspires

Twinspires has really messed up today. If you used the EZ-Money Direct Deposit from your checking account, TS took the same amount of money TWICE! Once when you made your initial withdrawal, then again today. In my case, thank goodness it was only $100. I usually put in a few hundred at a time. Anyone experience this today?

I put in $100 about a week or so ago. I just checked and nothing new but I appreciate the update.

There's usually a two-day lag between the time you request a deposit from Twinspires, and when it posts to your checking account. At least for me. So I don't how you could know the money was taken out today. You're not thinking of a withdrawal related to a deposit request from a couple of days ago?

If the money was taken out of your checking twice, hopefully both deposits did show up on Twinspires?

On Tuesday I used TS EZ-Deposit to withdraw $100 from checking to TS. It shows up as a withdraw Wednesday. Another Withdraw for $100 shows up today, Thursday when I checked my account online. I called Customer Service ASAP. Guy said a batching problem occurred and many may have been affected. No, I did not get the 2nd withdraw put in my betting account.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Batching problem, indeed.

Well, if they know about it, hopefully the missing $100 will get redeposited back to your account soon.

In using direct deposit and ACH transactions over the last 25 years, I've had this happen a couple of times. Once, to my chagrin, a deposit of $1800 showed up in my account out of nowhere, and then disappeared after I called my bank and mentioned I was a horseplayer, and my balance is never that high....

No more TwinSpires

I have to say that I've been a much happier ADW user since I
quit using TwinSpires. Xpressbet and TVG have been excellent

I hope that you get that mess straightened out.

Why are they better? I was wondering if you had tried DRF also.

Anyone got any input as to which of these are better than the other ie DRF/TS or ExpressBet?

Here's a few opinions.

http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=92776

I hate the interfaces for TVG and Xpressbet. They are so clunky. But since they both have Hong Kong, and TVG has free TimeFormUS, they get much more of my action now.

I used to prefer the format, video, and entire website at TwinSpires over
Xpressbet and TVG. They were the closest I could find to Youbet in format,
and that's where I started my online wagering years ago.

In fact, TVG's website was just plain bad.
Add in the fact that they charged a quarter every time you made a bet, I avoided them for a long time.
Then, a year or two ago, they upgraded.
They've been great ever since, the fees were dropped, and they threw
in TimeformUS PPs. It's a win/win. I have no problems with Xpressbet, either.

I'm not a big player. Total ADW play annually for me is around $20K.
Anything I can do to stear clear of CDI seems good to me, and they
will really have to clean up their act before I'll play with them again.
That doesn't seem very likely.

I really liked YOUBET. But TS works for me.

My account was dinged twice yesterday but they put half back in today without my having to do anything. Was going to call, but checked my bank account online.
