Del Toga Contest Announcement Thread

Hello Everyone,

Experience has taught us that comments made by the moderators under the individual selection threads are most often not seen by the person they were directed at, nor are they seen by ALL the participants who could benefit by knowing.

To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these communications, this new Announcement thread has been created.

Posting under this thread is to be limited to the contest Moderators and/or their designated representative(s). If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a private message, or post under the RESULTS thread if it is scoring-related.

Please check this thread regularly for important announcements and/or comments related to posting/scoring. Efforts will be made to keep new postings to a minimum.

Reminder: Participants are still limited to 3 races per DAY. When Saratoga and Del Mar are both running on the same day, you may have selections at both, as long as the combined total is not greater than 3.

IMPORTANT SCORING NOTE --> As has been consistent with the scoring of other contests, when a participant posts more than the allowable 3 races, their first 3 (which do not have a scratched selection) will be scored.

Three quick comments:

(a) Please remember to include the horse's saddlecloth number in your selections. It makes MY job much easier.
(b) If/When Saratoga has any hurdle races, they are NOT valid contest races.
(c) Saratoga runs on Mondays, and the contest is OPEN for participation!

If you do not have microsoft excel, or are unable to read/access the daily attached results file, please send me by private message your e-mail address.

I will then send you an e-mail with a text copy of the results every time a new results sheet is published.
