AC/DC: Great or Pure Elite?

I know people (even here now), that would claim them as the greatest Rock N' Roll band of all time.

They have an incredible argument.

Even before their Back In Black album came out, they were cranking. But when BnB hit the shelves, they arrived. A couple dozen other great songs and fantastic albums.., and here we are.

The riffs. The lyrics.

For this video, I'll give you my first 45 single I ever purchased.

Elite, the only band I have seen more than 3 times in my life (8 to be exact). Mutt Lang was their new producer for their Highway to Hell album and he took a already good band and put them over the top. Taught them KISS, keep it simple stupid. They kept to that even when they had to replace Bon Scott. Catchy lyrics and let that Angus guy rip on the lead guitar. Open a concert with Thunderstruck and end it with For Those About To Rock. The best thing about them is that in concert they fed off the crowd. The more the crowd got into it the better they played. Always gave 100%. Would love to get one more album from them.

Elite for sure. Hard to pick my favorite Rock band, but these guys are a top five for me. Malcolm and Angus and the boys sticking to hard rock, no ballads, no bullshit, just hard, driving rock, Yea.
