This, I could get interested in.

Only, I'd prefer Standardbreds since they run more than once every six weeks.
Don't care for paying a trainer for months without racing - only exercise.

I recently met someone who had micro shares in a couple horses running at Canterbury. It sounded interesting. They seemed happy with it.

There are already plenty of low dollar syndicates.

You get what you pay for. Without the syndicate mgr making a dime, 1000 people paying $100 gives you 1/1000 of a $50k yearling and it’s training through the first year. What’s the point?

I've encountered a few guys (usually on the plane or in the airport) the last few years that were "owners" of a BC horse we were flying to see. Don't get me wrong, these guys were successful men in their own right, but they were as much an "owner" as an instagram girl is a "star" or a "model" --- meaning not really. But they had some sort of swag associated with it that was typical of the modern day fraud with such things. What's funnier is that these guys probably didn't bet as much or as intricately as I did, even regarding their own horses, and I don't call myself anything but a (sometimes) astute player.

That's my take on it.

Nothing wrong with having a small piece.

Ever hear of the stock market?
