Since I don't want Lamboguy to be get lonely posting numbers
Total tests administered in California
1/9/2021 = 473,076
1/27/2021 = 218,152
Magically the total positive cases went down too......

The case and hospitalization numbers are improving rapidly around the country, but not as much in NYC. I have a sneaking suspicion one of the new more contagious variants is making it's way around NYC and we haven't been told yet or they haven't figured it out. NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester etc have a very high total infection rate and a lot of vaccinations. So you would think the NYC area would one of the first places to start doing better and do so even faster. By some estimates over 40% of the people in area have already been infected. It's not far away from a level that should really slow things down with continued infections and vaccinations.

Maybe there are a lot more people coming and going in and out of the UK than Belarus. As the owner of a travel advisor company, I can tell you I get a lot more requests for London than Minsk
