If Maduro's not using chemical weapons against Venezuelans, harboring terrorists, threatening our allies in Latin America (although I think Maduro would have trouble conquering French Guiana given the state of his country's problems) or rounding up and imprisoning thousands of his opponents, I'm not seeing any need for military action. And if it came to that , Latin America needs to take the lead and run the show.Nothing wrong with Trump rattling his cage but treading lightly is highly recommended. This is NOT our backyard.Aren't we always resenting other countries giving us finger wagging lectures? That door swings both ways.

Yup.
Given our great track record in the "caravan countries" or "banana republics" we have to tread pretty lightly but these developments aren't really a cause for concern.
It's just publicly picking the side everybody already knew you were rooting for.

Whatever. The reality is that I posted the facts, but phrased it in a way to ruffle some feathers. And it worked.
The reality is that Maduro is still the president down there, and that he has the backing of the military. Trump saying that Guaido is the president doesn't make it so.

So much like Ely these days.
We were talking about Trump - YOU having mentioned him in the first post of the thread, then complaining when someone else invoked him again later in the same thread.
I never disputed the facts.
But you turned it into a self-game that you have now won, just like Ely does.
Bravo!

Whats funny though is how convinced and bought into this you are... because you need it to be... because anything outside of right/evul libs is too complex for you.

I think you're misjudging the joke of his comment.
When it comes to foreign governments there is one vote that matters most to them. Its the vote of the President and Government of the United States.
You are just in over your head and a bit sore about it...

Not at all,, but as usually, YOU pretend to have won again.
You two ever consider a tag team?
btw, explain how foreign policy is not a left/right thing.

I did.
Foreign policy is on a different spectrum:
Isolationist, Internationalist, Interventionist, Imperialist.
Trump is on the left. Most American Presidents exist somewhere in the middle two.
Left/Right politics are domestic matters not international relations policy. Stick around... you might learn something.

Political humor about Trump is now politically incorrect on the right.

Left/right are everything.
The dems opposed W going into Iraq, called for withdrawal.
The right opposed 0bama sucking up to the Iranians.
Left/right is blurred only for short periods of time, like right after 9/11.
But soon, the ideologies of boths sides reated visible sides.
Pay attention, YOU may learn something.
Perhaps if you looked deeper in ot it thanat totally pathetic reply to my question, that really said nothing.

Nope. Humor is fair game.
Here's one.
Why did Trump cross the road?
To try to find Nancy to negotiate.

Obama said Qadafi and Mubarak must go... we see how that panned out for them.
A sitting President saying your time in power is done has this nasty habit of being true.
MAGA bois can't think critically...

Which one of these would you like me to torpedo first?
Iraq or Iran?
I gave you the IR spectrum... its not a left/right thing.
