It's not over until the report is made public.

Bill Barr’s Weasel Words,
William Saletan

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/...e-reading.html
Quote:
“Rosenstein and I have concluded.” Barr’s letter mixes two different authors. On questions of conspiracy and coordination, Barr summarizes Mueller’s findings. But on the question of whether Trump obstructed justice, Barr draws his own conclusion: “Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and I have concluded that the evidence developed during the Special Counsel’s investigation is not sufficient to establish that the President committed an obstruction-of-justice offense.” That’s Barr’s opinion, not Mueller’s. As the letter concedes, Mueller “did not draw a conclusion one way or the other as to whether the examined conduct constituted obstruction.”

It is over. Mueller left it up to the DoJ and the DoJ said no obstruction. The President is not above the law, but he is neither below the law. Mueller said he could not find the President guilty of obstruction, while not following DOJ rules and guidelines.

Translation, I could not find the President guilty using the DoJ's longstanding rules for charging obstruction of justice, so I tried to draw outside the lines and still couldn't find obstruction, so I gave up and left it to the DoJ to decide.

Like SMTW said, it's over. All that "any day now" shit is yet another embarrassing episode for libs.

Did you have mustard or mayo on that Nothingburger that was just served? (VBSEG)

Although Mueller’s report “does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him,” the special counsel wrote in his confidential report, according to Barr’s summary.
There is a lot more to come.

What other prosecutors outrank Rosenstein and the A.G. Barr, who could bring obstruction charges? Why don't they mention which prosecutors can override the DoJ and bring obstruction charges against the President.? Why no names, because it is pure b.s., don't believe it hcap.

Nadler and Schiff have no prosecutorial power, no matter how much they preen. The DoJ has final say so and they said so, no obstruction and no prosecution for obstruction.

There is no more to come...................

It's done - DOJ says so.
You know, like when Billy met the AG on the tarmac?

"It's only a matter of time hee-hee ha-haa."

It's not over until the dims lose so many seats, they decide that attacking Trump et al is not a very good policy and get onto policies that Americans want, like immigration reform.

I agree there is probably a lot more to come...

It will be interesting seeing the Administration try to block the release of a report that completely exonerates them.

This. If the dems keep on and on it gives an outright appearance of desperation on their part. The party is over but they won't go home. No one likes a pest

The unthinkable is a possibility now. Not only can trump get re elected, but the the house may swing back to red if the witch hunt continues No wonder Pelosi is calling for dems to back off

Definite possibility.

Thing is, the US electorate has such a short memory span,
it's all going to come down to the summer and fall of 2020.

Who can dish the most dirt?
Just like 2016.
