Lookin' forward to watchin' this colt run this Saturday.
Nice
breeding, nice
couple of
works; nice mover w/a glide stride . . . horse is chompin' at the bit and fightin' to be let loose in his last work, wants to run, tough to hold on to; reminds me of what Code of Honor was doin' in his last work. Has done most of what they've asked of him and shows a lot of potential. Well managed w/the connections moving him forward smartly and sequentially in distance and class. CD is a bit high for the DI but gets two Solid Points from Sadlers Wells.
He'll be takin' a big step up in the Rebel - I think he has somethin' for em'! I see Baffert pulled Mucho Gusto from the Rebel and has him goin' instead in the Sunland. It'll be interesting to see how the racing secretary splits these colts up. We know Baffert's Game Winner and Improbable will be split; likely she splits Hollendorfer's Gunmetal Gray and Galilean. Asmussen has got five goin', likely to see them split.
It's gonna be an interesting couple of races. Baffert comes in w/the class, they may be just short of racing condition whereas Hollendorder brings in two nice colts in Gunmetal Gray and Galilean, both of em' dead fit and race ready. It'll be interesting to see how the class responds to condition. I'd like to see Galilean go up against Game Winner, put the BCJ Champion to the test early on first time out, see if he has improved from last year . . .
Should be a good couple of hoss' races.
