Only a true fool would agree to a contest where he knows the rules will severely cramp his style. So what are you? A fool or a horrible handicapper?
'Cause there are no fools who are excellent handicappers, I can tell you that.

If you thought the rules and terms of the contest were unreasonable, you shouldn't have agreed to take part in it. If my memory serves, even after the contest started, you were still posting "ice in my veins," which I took to mean you were confident in your abilities to win the contest.

Nothing funnier than watching bravado turn into whining. Dude, stop making excuses.

Seriously though, what is unrealistic about it? By 12:30 everyday I know pretty much everything I plan on betting. So do most of the people I know. Obviously if weather or a bias makes me change up my handicapping a bit, then I adjust. So far weather hasn't impacted anything.
If you can pick winners, you can pick winners. It doesn't matter if it's by 12:30 or 1 minute before the race. Stop making excuses.

My friend...I think that he beat you fair and square. Learn to be more gracious in defeat.
After all...it's only a game.
PS...
Might I suggest another handicapping contest...with the emphasis on exotic betting? Win betting may not be your "cup of tea".
