Second

This time instead of a black cat in front of me it was a gray horse. Tucker tried hard but didn't change leads and got more tired than normal. She lives to fight another fight probably on September 8th at Ky. Downs. Try her on turf and let her sit in the back as she seems to prefer that based on what we are seeing.

It was one of those rare races where the horses ran in the exact same order as the odds predicted.

Labor Day week end would not be too soon.

She appears to have come out of the race good and went right back to the feed tub. The money at Ky. Downs is $62,000 so that is a nice pot to shoot for.

I personally don't like running horses any sooner than 4-6 weeks unless there is a huge opportunity. My trainer makes those calls for me but we kinda got an uncommunicated acceptance between us that we are typically on the same page. If not we talk.

Sounds like Wendy's Turn will end up east around Oct..

Have never had the fortunate experience of visiting River Downs but I will some day God willing.

I can say he has had time with his daughter, dad, son, grandchildren and seems to be very happy. I personally have enjoyed the time with my horses as well as seeing everybody. This is where it all started so the memories are sweet. But I live here and JLJ is from Hopkinsville 80 miles south.

sounds to me like he doesn't get along with Mr. Pope the racing secretary at both Oaklawn and Delaware. he wasn't in Oaklawn this year either now that i think about it, and that is what those 2 places have in common!

Good luck with your horses LRL!!
