Sooner or later

It had to happen, a Brinks security guard was shot and killed while making a pickup at Calder Casino around 5PM last evening, I had left the grounds a little earlier. The FBI arrested 4 young men who will appear in Federal Court this morning. It has to be a great temptation for some, to see a bag full of money being carried across the parking lot.

I don't even know why they think they can get away with stuff like this, but I'm guessing they don't think that far into the future.

There were 5 now arrested for the Calder Casino robbery. Believe this, 2 of them were employed as SECURITY GUARDS by the Casino. $345K was the amount they almost got away with. Nice Sunday take for the Casino.

And they killed a guy they probably worked with so he couldn't identify them.

What's even more sad is many armed cash transporters are ex military.
This is the second time in as many months I have read about an armed guard in the line of duty being blown away by some scum thief ....Protecting SOMEONE ELSE'S MONEY!

What is the world coming to????

My prayers go out to family and friends of this person that was simply doing his job.

Sadly, maybe money transporters such as these should be equipped with bullet proof vests. Actually, I'm not sure that they are not equipped with them. Anyone know?

I knew a guy who did this for a couple of years. He was a retired Police Officer. He bought his vest.

was this verified to be drug related?

From the limited info i've read here, it looks like some amatuer low-life sociopaths.
