Too much can happen. I know he looked the best. But you can never tell. And there is no GR this year. Accelerate has a big fig but he's never won outside of California. Tough to pick a winner before we know who's going what's the track condition etc. I know I can't .if someone else can good for them .

I already said in this thread I am against both the above mentioned horses, I just though last year was not the best example of BC handicapping in August, and neither probably was 2016 (Arrogate).

Thus, in short, for you:

The older horses suck.
The younger horses suck.

Other than your massive love for Good Magic, who could possibly win the BC Classic?

I missed your post about Good Magic.

I dont think its been a banner year for the older horses, yes Accelrate is very good, and so is City of Light but he is not a 10F horse.

Accelerate could win, but that barn shipping at about 2/1?

Good Magic, I think he is an exceptional horse and if he keeps moving forward is going to make a lot of money.

The three year olds were solid, but injuries and retirements, and some flame outs have really taken their toll.

I am just trying to be honest, if a horse is good, like Good Magic or Justify, I will say so.

Wonder if Bolt D Oro could make a comeback, he has some talent to him. So does McKinzie but dont think he is a 10 F sort.

I think Tenfold could be a monster. Bravazo isn't a pushover.

It it early August. I'm not counting out ANY 3YO.

I am not sure about Tenfold (and I have bet him alot this season), I think there is some talent to him but I think that Jim Dandy may be his ceiling (this is certainly no knock, it was a Grade 2 win), but he needs to run a faster race soon to compete at the very top levels against older horses.

I think the 3 year olds are fairly weak, that fact contributed to why Justify won the TC, and no 3 year old could have come within 5 lengths of Accelerate yesterday.

Very hard to judge 3 year olds in may june versus older horses when they were to meet in november, lots of development in that 5-6 months.

That I agree with. It is certainly possible for a 3 year old to jump up and improve. Happens all the time.

But it's going to have to happen. What I saw yesterday at Del Mar was awesome.

I think Accelerate ran a lot better than the final time indicates.

Not that it was an especially strong field behind him, but they weren't low level ALW horses either. That was a tough race that took a toll on everyone behind him and he just cruised to a huge monster win.

Yep..I didn't need a speed figure on this one. I know exactly what I saw.
