These are all charitable bets. Andy's selection appears first in each row; the opponent's pick (which was derived from Twitter discussions) is the second pick. The "loser" of the head-to-head donates $50.00 to a selection of NYRA related charities - such as the Belmont Child Care Association. So, in essence, the charities gain $500.00 and we play for bragging rights which is a win-win for everyone.

i think he is going to win those matchup bets.

my pick for tomorrow is going to be in the 6th race, i like PRIVATE CREED alot. he is going to have to sneak up the rail to beat this field. he is not coming out of the best races and his figures are probably pretty light.

The point isn’t really to win but to both raise a few bucks for good causes and try to raise awareness of them. The only certain benefit if I win is that I will be donating to them regardless, so if I win, they will get a few more dollars. In the past, however, some of the winners would donate as well….and as a result, deserving people and horses will benefit.
