Otis, that's not the "simple" question I was asked. I was asked whether there are plans to get rid of Classic in the next few months.
I didn't say it would be kept indefinitely. There is no hard-stop date at this point.
Long-term, the new features will be added to the new interface so what you were told is true.

why not go out and get the programer's that require running the old Youbet platform. admit you made a mistake and make it better than you ever had before and get something like 80% of all the adw business. no one else can compete with you since you also own Brisnet.

I'm not Lambo, but I have a few issues:
Each point below should be preceded by "As far as I can tell"
1. No Wager Pad Pro. This is a huge issue for me. I have accounts with two other major providers, but I only fund this one mainly because of this feature. All the tracks I'm interested in are right there, and I can easily see what I have done. I don't have to click from race to race to race to bet.
2. One is limited in choosing bet size to the values on the drop down menu. You cannot customize bet size. Sometimes I wish to bet very specific values.
3 It is far easier to see which races are close to post on the classic screen with the red, yellow and green boxes than with the mainly pale orange and blue fonts.
4. Limit of one video box at a time, and it is an extra step to get it into it's own window. If I'm keeping an eye on a race about to go off, and waiting for the post parade at another, I have a problem.
I'm sure I could come up with more, but this is a start. The new interface might be a better handicapping experience, but it is not a better wagering experience for me.

#1 Yep, Pro is a legacy interface not available
#2 Correct, though we do have a request in for "Other" where one can customize the amount of the bet placed
#3 Can't comment on the colors, but will certainly pass along your feedback
#4 One can open up as many video windows as they wish, including multiple windows open at the same time...how they are viewed is up to the player
