Gulfstream Park Suspends Five Trainers
Out of competition testing for clenbuterol. Baxter, Crichton, Pita, Walder, Zerpa. No shockers there
https://www.paulickreport.com/news/t...uterol-policy/
Article/press release notes that 10 barns were tested. 5 had positives - nice "low" percentage .
I wouldn't mind finding out what 5 barns DIDN'T garner a positive.

Well...
Since old Belinda has Santa Anita in her jacket also........shouldn't Peter Miller be suspended ?
Because:
Miller just got nailed for an out of competition Bute positive @ SLR.
The horse he was doping was his absolute star miler Mo Foroza.
Miller drugged up Mo Foroza, and then he returned from a 10+ month layoff to take down the Gr.2 Del Mar Mile.
Honestly.....I'm not sure how Mo Foroza was allowed to run in that race.
But wait....
There's more:
Miller just had another out of competition Bute positive at San Luis Rey.....this time it was Mr Dougie Fresh on 9/13/21.
And yet Belinda and company allow him to do his thing.
Oh...one more thing.......Mo Foroza is the 6-5 ML Favorite in the Gr 2 City of Hope Mile tomorrow @ Santa Anita.
You just can't make this stuff up.
And shouldn't Miller be banned from the Breeders Cup also ?

Maybe Belinda can ask the bigger question of why this drug was ever made a legal medication in the first place? The time has come to remove clenbuterol from racing completely. Never mind withdrawal times, it never should've been permitted.
Some quotes from here and there:
The drug’s manufacturer, Boehringer Ingelheim, says clenbuterol “should be withdrawn” after 30 days. “Long term, you start pushing a horse into the beginning stages of heart failure,” explained Kenneth H. McKeever, associate director of research at the Rutgers Equine Science Center.
There's Navarro... "NAVARRO operated his doping scheme covertly, importing misbranded “clenbuterol” that he both used and distributed to others"
There's Servis.. "I didn't just start using this," Servis said, maintaining that he is well aware of when to stop using the drug to avoid a positive. "I've been using it for more than 10 years."

I have no idea how Peter Miller gets away with a skate on this stuff.
He had a horse breakdown opening day @ SA........his mortality rate is sickening.
He's a butcher.
I'm starting to worry about Mo Forza........all heart, but obvious physical issues.
Glad he's not a gelding.
Belinda is a fraud.

"'For the record, we are NOT suspended, just not allowed to enter and race at a Stronach-owned track,' Walder wrote in a text message. 'There is a big difference.'"
Huh??? We are totally in 1984 doublespeak here.
And you can blame former Gov. Scott for deregulating the industry and abolishing the racing commission. Meaning the tracks govern themselves.

It is similar to Baffert and Churchill tracks. He is barred from their tracks, but obviously running at others.
