Actually, Obama is far more diabolically clever than most make him out to be. He put off this amnesty thing until after the election. Now that he knows the public has no use for him, he's going to rush amnesty through because he perceives it'll put his party in a position of strength come the next election.

Come campaign time, all we're going to hear is how everyone must vote for the Democrat (including the illegals, of course) because the evil Republicans will reverse his amnesty order. This issue will become a huge political football in 2016 and the Republicans will be accused of racism since they're not in favor of showing tender mercy and compassion for lawbreakers.

And the spineless, gutless RINOS, of course, will not to attack this issue head-on because they will think they'd just be adding fuel to the Democrats' fire.

This is a winning move for Obama (because he personally has zero to lose) and because it will give the Democrats a big issue with which to combat the Republicans come next election.

Robert, it says this, plain and simply:

Why would they need it... many will stop working under the table and jump on welfare as soon as the ink dries. Medicaid will be flooded with little sugar hopped beaners (A.D.D's). More anchors. Which will lead to more illegals to do the work they now don't have to. Fix the Phuckin' Border then we can talk about the dealing with the invasion... Obama has encourage and allowed to go unchecked.

I'm at the point where I think there are only 2 possible solutions for this country over the next few decades.

1. Secession of some states

2. Packing your bags and heading to greener pastures (assuming the freedom hating socialist devils will allow people to leave with their assets)

Of course the 3rd possibility is revolution after a collapse, but we are not near that point yet.

You think Obama cares about his party and the next election? I don't believe that for one minute. a person who cared about things like that wouldn't act like he does about everything, with complete indifference. He cares only about himself and taking revenge on the country, or has he calls it "fundamentally transforming" the country..

It is hard to put down his executive order before knowing what is in it. The leaked talking points say must have kid born in US and been here for 5-10 years. Will not be eligible for any welfare, food stamps, social security,... voting privileges and start paying taxes. Hard to say what it will be after he is done rewriting (interpreting) the constitution.

Obama does give speeches with enthusiasm and a big SMILE
And since most of audience will be Hispanic, they probably will not walk out on him.

Personally I don't give a f**k what Obama does tomorrow. It won't make any difference except on each sides of party lines where more anger will surface.
Each side has been using immigration as a tool to fight each other for decades now instead of directing their energy towards securing our borders.
So let the chips fall where they may. I for one, really don't give a damn.
I tend to agree except for one thing. They are going to get work permits. This opens up some jobs for some that are working for cash. They can now take an on the clock job. I've heard some interesting scenarios discussed.

I heard a radio caller tonight who runs a ranch. He said he constantly turns down guys offering to work seasonal jobs ( Hay season, whatever that is) for cash. He has full time employees that he pays 10-12 an hour. Even his seasonal guys get 10 but they are on the books. The cash seasonal guys offer to work for 8. He said it's going to be real hard to not hire those seasonal guys for 8 this year. He expects they may have work permits and they won't care if they are on the books now. He pays them as sub contractors for the season, so it won't change the dollar amount they get, due to Social Sec etc. it doesn't apply.

I can see where a portion of these guys come out of the cash underground and there is more competition for "real jobs"

Of course, he "cares" now that he's on the way out. Besides, he can boast that he gave them a huge issue (or more appropriately -- a platform) on which the party's candidates can run. And they'll love that platform because from it they'll be able to paint the Republicans racists once again.

This morning news here in Texas is that Texas is going to file suit against Obama and that work permits won't be valid in Texas.........

I see some backlash coming out of this. But Americans are too lazy to get worked up about it. people predicting all these bullshit reactions are crazy. I wish.......

All these new workers in the labor pool.
Time to lower the min wage to $1.00 per hour.
Time to refuse welfare checks to anyone refusing to take a buck an hour job.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio was interviewed on cable news last night. He was also talking about a law suit, depending on the details of the plan. I don't know if he meant his county or the state filing a law suit.

Apparently the White House did not formally request coverage by the major networks. The primary coverage will be by Univision and Telemundo. It looks like they may have talked with Univision before scheduling the time of the speech.

Quote:
Obama's 8 p.m. Eastern time announcement will come at the start of the second hour of the 15th annual Latin Grammys, which begins at 7 p.m. Thursday on Spanish-language TV network Univision. At least 9.8 million viewers tuned in to all or part of last year's telecast, meaning Univision defeated CBS, Fox and NBC that night.

Univision says it will postpone part of the awards show to air Obama's speech, while the big four TV networks, ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC, currently have no plans to air the address. Telemundo, usually the second-ranked Spanish-language national network, also plans to air Obama's speech followed by a special news program, a spokesman said.

Why would he tell AMERICANS what he is planning on doing?
It is all about ILLEGALS, himself and 5 million more.

I think it will on Kenyan Kable TV.

Assuming Amnesty becomes reality - 1, 5, 10 years from now, how does the government ascertain that any specific illegal was present in the US when amnesty was granted?
