Just heard this on a top of the hour new summary.
Bummer.
Horses fading further and further into the background.

How long until there are Clydesdale races at some of the minor tracks, along with the Arabians and the wiener dogs?

I believe I've seen some compete at low level three day events. Never on the flat.

Executive #2: Naw, must be the horses in the xmas commercials.

All the members of the band that march BEHIND the Clydesdales in the Thanksgiving Day Parade just breathed a huge sigh of relief!

Actually, I believe they got unionized, and were demanding too much money, and Christmas off.

IF this isn't a rumor I wonder if PETA has a hand in this.

They're not featured in the Christmas adverts but there will be a Super Bowl commercial. So, the big guys with the feathers are not out yet.

Lousy beer or not, it's hard to mess up a brand with as strong a business position as BUD had the way InBev has.

Don't believe everything that trends. The Budweiser #Clydesdales aren't going anywhere.

I used to work for the Bud distributor here in town, and they used to host the Clydesdale team once a year. They'd visit Keeneland and parade the team on the track. Incidentally, if there's some that has never stood beside a Clydesdale, these guys are freaking monsters.
In my house growing up, the holiday season didnt officially start until their commercials started running. In fact, me and the old man had a competition going as to who could see it first.
Not my go to beer anymore, but there's nothing better than an ice cold bottle of Budweiser right outta the cooler.

I for one, love the smell of horse manure - smells like victory.
Two of my favorite X-max commercials are the two from the late 70s that includes the Clydesdales pulling their wagon in the snow. And, the Miller High life commercial with the horse and sleigh thru the mountain country side, thru the village light up at night with Xmas lights. All to the tune of "I'll be home for Xmas". I watch those 2 dozens of times on youtube, Feels like going home.
