Not sure if he'll ride or be replaced, but Tony is still active. He "retired" a while back when he reached 5,200 wins but he still rides a handful of horses each year. This year he's 4 for 30.

Yes! One of the few mounts he takes He was interviewed on a local show with Keith Jones and Dick Jerardi, says he feels he owes it to the connections, apparently they've been good to him in the past.

I'm 4 yrs older than him, but I doubt that I'd be able to climb up on a horse. I'd need a ladder.

Not sure how he does it. Especially at this age with his riding style where he bends his knees and his body is parallel to the back of the horse. His unconventional seat never hampered his ability to win races.

I think Corey Black is an exercise rider in California. He might be a jocks agent too, but i'm not sure. Also not sure if they're related.

Corey and Kenny Black are brothers. Unrelated to Tony.
Tony is however, HOF'er Sam Boulmetis' nephew.
Tony latched on to Marty Scafidi's Winning Image for Mikey Aro early this year and really suits her need the lead style. This may be Winning Image's final career start. Tony keeps threatening to retire too, but we've been hearing that for 4-5 years. He's in remarkable shape at 62. Hoping the team get's lucky one more time tomorrow.

Here we go. Looks like lone speed, unless the guy on the 1 decides to press.
