What did we know about Judge Kavenaugh already in July? For one thing he bought supposedly $200K worth of Nationals tickets on a credit card with a salary of $220K. Even if it's some scheme to get crazy rewards on his cc's, that tells me about his judgement.
After his testimony what was my number one takeaway about the Judge? He likes beer, I mean he really, really, really LIKES BEER.
I thought the sex allegations and testimonies on both sides was a push at best. But Brett really likes his beer, he said that what, maybe 20-30 times? Maybe I exagerated by 50% but he really likes beer. Now this morning his Yale classmates confirm that Brett really likes his beer. If he gets in, I think there's alcohol rehab sometime in his future. If he doesn't get in, I believe it may be the near future.

How?
Under oath?
In a legal appedaffit?

Now that the FBI is going to investigate, NOTHING not under oath or in legal, penalty of felony documents is allowed to be talked about.

Sorry, but once legal proceeding begin, hearsay BS is out the window.

I made my judgement on listening to his testimony. My comments were made to my wife several times, that this guy really likes to drink. I trust my own judgement, and thought his recollection of the high school events sounded believable. People can lie while under oath and on affidavits as well. I trust my own ears when someone is talking about themselves. I also thought he dodged a few questions about his drinking with deflecting, "Senator, do you like to have a few drinks? Maybe a few beers?" Sounds like pretty much everyone I've ever known right before they go to AA. Should that disqualify him? Don't know.

I appreciate you making up your mind based on the testimonies.
MY point was not to argue your opinion. but to try to define the NEW rules for discussion here.

The left has been repeating unproven and unknown allegations ( ilike Danny posts any unknown twit says) as if it there were facts.

THEY called for an FBI investigation, so now that it is going to happen, nothing outside that investigation is valid to talk about.

YOU made you mind up based on actual reality that YOU saw, not party ,lines, like most here.

Yes he said it a million times because it's idiocy and he's taking to what are probably total hypocrites.

I think I'm the female Kavanaugh. I drank underage in high school. I was on the cusp of the age changes too. The go to person for chalking an ID but that was after we went to picture licenses. Sometimes I drank a little, sometimes a lot. Got completely wasted twice and remember both to this day. Ugh!

Guess what I still like beer. But I'm 50 now so you know I've grown up. But I still love beer. If someone tried to smear my entire life based on this information I'd be pissed to.

Well, lex, looks like you and me are never going to sit on the Supreme Court!

It was WORTH IT!

You're also not being nominated to one of the most important and irrevocable positions of power in this country.

Feinstein is lame duck now, but 4 full terms and 2 yrs from special election

you must have the dim view of SCOTUS, saying they have absolute powers
