A Thread about Nothing
Son-in-law came over with his chain saw this morning, and he took down a dead tree in one of our pastures. Went to OBS and caught the $88 exacta in Belmont's 7th race. Chinese food for dinner. Thinking about the Amtrak incident involving fatalities in Nevada, and wondering why it's not getting much national news coverage. RIP, conductor and passengers. Truck driver, not so much.

Burnt some of the chicken. My grill has some hot spots, and I wasn't watching. Still everything ended up alright.

The Kids are driving the mechs... hence the two legs... thought I'd share that. Lousy show though.

Spent from 5am to 9am coordinating too many workers. Then had to deal with the clusterflack that is QH futurity trials. Then had to suffer through a winless day after a winless day yesterday. Left in disgust before the horses in the finale were even unsaddled instead of hanging out in the barn area after the races like usual. Contemplated getting drunk for the first time in fifteen years on the drive home. Got distracted by rapid fire phone calls about the last thing I wanted to think about - business. Turned on the computer. Went to Pace Advantage without checking charts first. Thinking about getting drunk again. Maybe I will overdose on Tylenol instead and ditch the headache. Throwing up sounds good too. I yearn for my eight months of nothing again.

Steak was good, corn was good, getting ready to finish off the cake and sparkling grape juice.
Ice Road Truckers is taping, that comes next.
No plans for tomorrow......another day of nothing.
Maybe eggs for breakfast.
At work, I think I will re-organize the Penski File.

Got back to the house after my last chance at Candlepin Bowling. Bought cheese puffs, love them. In new area, tried Wise's Cheez Doodles, new brand to me - enjoying them.
Need a Seinfeld topic. How about:
What's the deal with these Cheez Doodles? Are they supposed to look like Doodles? The baked ones I had are fairly straight, look more like short l's, barely enough curve to make lousy short j's. Cheetos, on the other hand, have a twisted version. Those look more like Doodles. "What'cha doin' Son?" "I'm Doodling, Dad." "Son, those Doodles look more like Cheese Puffs. You need to work on your doodling skills. Maybe add a couple loops or something." Who are these people, anyway....
