Saratoga Sunday 8-12-12

Same bets as always. $10 WP on top pick and roll the pick 3's.

Race -1 The . 2nd time starter for the Mott barn hitting at 14% with 2nd time outs. Closed nicely to run 3rd in career bow. Bullet work Aug 1st best of 52 that day. (7-14-10)

Race -2 The Taking a bit of a stab on a runner who has never been on a fast dirt track. 2nd time off the layoff for a 12% trainer move. Double drops in class for another 19% angle. Some things to like here. (4-7-15)

Race -3 The . Gets back to the main track today for Mc Peek. 3rd time off the layoff for a 18% trainer move. Career high Bris figure came on the main track so the switch off the turf today should help. (6-10-11)

Race -4 The . With all the scratches and off the turf, this one looks like the one to beat in here. Last seen flashing speed and tiring. Castellano up for the ride today a plus. (5-3-4)

Race -5 The . Ran a career best Bris figure in first out over this surface. Consistant sort for Schosberg appears to be getting good at the right time. Good spot at 10-1 on the line. (1-6-7)

Race -6 The . Hard to get by the outside runner in here for Mott. Ran a 93 Bris figure in debut and Mott hits at 14% with 2nd time starters. 2 bullet works coming in to this. Catch this one to cash. (8-1-3)

Race -7 The . 2 year olds running on a yielding turf course. Landed on this 1st time starter for Chad Brown. Trainer hits at 11% with 1st timers and draws Ramon for the ride. Nice string of works on the turf course. (3-1-6)

Race -8 The . Assmussen shipper(21% when shipping in) last seen running 2nd over the CD main track. 15% dirt-to-turf trainer sends this one out over the wet turf course today. Leparoux for the ride. (9-2-1)

Race -9 The . Deep closer from an outside post will need to save some ground early. Race 2 back would win this with a 78 Bris figure for 16% Maiden claiming trainer. (12-1-7)

Race -10 The . Probably won't make a WP wager here. Ultra-impressive win at first asking for the Pletcher barn. Posted a 107 Bris figure in that effort. Appears to be a talented filly. (3-6-4)

Race -11 The . Another impressive 1st start winner. This time from the Violette barn. Scored the victory with a 103 Bris figure. Bullet work Aug 7th for this. Repeat within range. (3-5-6)

Good Luck N Good Racing From The KidCapper !!

, Charging Order: decent effort 1st out going 6F. Overlay @ 10:1 with 12 min to post.

, Palace: Mott horse getting all the money and all the chatter. Comes out of same races as the 14 last out; barely catching that one just before the wire for 3rd.

, Fair Trade: some decent efforts;

Looks like that best-racing-in-the-country SPEED BIAS is persisting. Why go to your local BULL RING track when you can get the same effect @ The SPAHHHHHHHHHHHH.

But they have a wonderful crew up there that does an excellent job with the dirt and turf courses.

Then take advantage of it instead of bawling about it all day.

Who's the speed in race 2?
7? 8?

That's not the point. And, I DID take advantage of it yesterday.

The point is that you figure out have to make your track fair when (and after) its wet. And you stop taking all those races off the turf and leaving impossible races (like today's 2nd) on WEEKENDS. The racing the last two days, outside of yesterday's 11th, is a ****in JOKE.

They race 5 weeks up there (or whatever). They have TWO turf courses. Do they really need to take all those races off when it's wet? Doesn't the sun shine up there? Why does it take so long for these courses to 'DRY' up. And, what's even more interesting is that there's also a SPEED BIAS On the turf pretty much every meet. Which means the courses are TOO HARD. Been doing this shit the same way for years: the result is a TON of unplayable races and SPEED BIASES. Maybe it's time to try something new. Maybe start by firing the person in charge of getting these tracks race ready. And those in charge of taking all these races off the turf.

Hope this clears it up for you.

That loser DiSanto seems to get one over every year at Sar...24-1 this time.

In 2010 he sent Wishingonadream to win at 24-1 at Sar
In 2009 he sent Ritzy Aly to win at 8-1 at Sar
In 2008 he sent Warrior Hill to win at 61-1 at Sar
In 2007 he had two winners but they weren't bombs...9-2 and 3-1

all this from a perennial 1% to 7% trainer

Race 5 going with #5 Game Token behind a lot of speed.
Gotta hurry at only 5.5f...way too low a price on #7 B Shanny (7-5).
He can be there under Ramon but i prefer it 5-2-1.

#2 looks like the E of the E and may be gone if he gets away well under Rosario.

, Tapit Dancer: her races last year were against better; distance might be an issue, however.

, Off Limits: 2nd time turfing for Mott. Could be okay.

& will be running late, if the race comes apart.

very confident ride by Leparoux. I started sweating when the 1 came to her as I only had the 9 on top with these. Worked out well, however.
