It is pretty crazy watching sports living on the East coast that have West coast start times. I have watched NBA games that went till 1am. I feel sorry for the hard core sports junkie here that works a factory day shift job with a 7am or earlier start.

No, it’s a liberal/conservative sucker job with the media milking the shit out of it. I don’t buy tickets and drive 5 hours for an Anthem. It’s about football, the tickets cost enough. If both sides are going to turn it into a political football....lol....don’t play it at all! That’s not what that’s about. Bone heads trying for political points. Besides , it’s a few jack asses that do it. It’s none of my business what they think. Could care less. There for the football

As I am posting this, the score looks like:

Code:
Yes. And I boycotted last year. 25	36.23%
Yes, but I didn't boycott last year. 2	2.90%
No, but I did boycott last year. 0	0%
No, and I didn't boycott last year. 18	26.09%
I will always watch NFL. 13	18.84%
I rarely or never watch NFL. 11	15.94%
The "I rarely watch" option can be ignored, leaving this:

27 Boycott="yes" 47%
31 Boycott ="no" 53%

Now, I expect that some of the "yes" votes could actually be "rarely" guys. But even if half of them are "rarely" that still leaves us with 30% boycotters. (13/44=29.5%)

The other stat that I find telling is that of last year's boycotters, not a single one came back.

That means the NFL's efforts to change things this year are failing.

Does anyone else view the poll differently?

My sympathies.

My loyalties since 1963 (a mere lad of 9) have rested with the Jets co-tenants the Gints, Big Blue, etc, winner of not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4, count 'em., 4 Super Bowls.

But :ThmbUp. for your loyalty to Gang Green.Law of averages says someday...

Stop drafting idiots to play the game.
They are ll big boys - if they get serious head/brain injuries, it is their own damn fault. I am not worried about them at all. Some get the big $$$ some get to eat soup with a funnel the rest of their lives. Their choice, not mine.
There are too many people with REAL diseases out there to worry about morons self-inflicting concussions.

I gave up on the Jets about two years after Nameth retired.
That is two years after THEY gave up on themselves.

Well the NFL is doing just fine. revenues were up in 2017, 4.9% from 2016 despite the dip in tv rating. That comes to $ 8,000,000,000 per NFL team.

Not bad for a failing product.

I work in New York City and all i see is people wearing nfl merchandise.

Hell our freight elevator guy lives and breathes giants.

As long as you have die hard fans, the nfl will be okay without the casual fan.

Their choice not mine whether they stand or kneel for the national anthem. There are too many real issues out there to worry about.

The countries where you can't protest? Where being different is a crime. Where if one speaks up, they and sometimes their family disappears in the night. Those are the places we usually get killed fighting against. People are so dumb...FOX is a joke. The freedom here means you can be different, even if it pisses people off. That's the point. I don't agree with them. But its a free country and its not my business...…..That's why that flag flies......morons.

Its there for everyone, not just what the majority thinks. That flies right over the fools heads.
