Fun Pop quiz - what did this exacta pay ?
Earlier this year : These are the closing Win odds :
41 to 1 and 45 to 1
Care to venture what the Exacta paid ? Not a Major
Track .. But not the lowest rung either...

Since you're being so vague, I'll say it's more than $2.10. I win. Send the millions in prize money to NYCOTB -- they need it.

I'd guess about $2500.

I'm going to say $1500, which is less than half of what it probably should be...

Should be about $1800 for the $1 but since you posted I will guess $1066 for each dollar.

This appears to be a trick question. However I will assume that it would’ve happened at a small track that had an exacta pool of about $20,000 and with 10 horses there would have been 90 possible outcomes and if one person or a group of persons would’ve purchased $180.00 of $2.00 individual wagers and won, the payoff would be ($20K*.75)/90 = $166.60. If there are $1 exacta wagers or more purchasers the payout gets smaller.
The payoff is small because the exacta is limited to 90 permutations and the pool size is small. If the pool size was $300k the payout under the same scenario would have been about $2,500.00
