What happened!

Just a few minutes in EVD R-2, ran the race and then all money returned...what happened?

I think this is one of the reasons the "sport of kings" is surrounded in, negative reputation, lack of communication. Run a race, say race cancelled, give money back, but no explanation as "why"? The announcers of live coverage say nothing...gives one an uneasy feeling about the sport. Not good for the "sport of kings"...

The starting gate was stuck on the track.

Where did you get this info? I heard nothing. That's a good reason to refund if that happened, but why the big delay in communication?

Funny thing there is a replay of the race of tvg and I wasnt able to figure anything out from it. I do not have sound so its possible the track announcer told the riders something but it didn't appear they pulled up. The replay was there yesterday, not up today.

Why did they refund if they had already run the race?

Thanks Woods for the replay, now I understand!! They didn't get the gate out the way towards end of race. Gate became obstructive to runners.
