Unfortunately some liberals are suggesting Sonya Sotomayor resign so that a replacement can fill her spot before the next president takes office.
We all know what kind of justices Trump likes. Even if JOE is still running things, the Rs could have the senate, making it more difficult to put in a progressive that has all the DEI requirements.

I don’t think any liberal is suggesting that. Why would they? Soto mayor is only 69. Trump is not going to win. Republicans are not going to take control of the Senate.

That didn’t age well. Republicans barely took the House, lost the Senate and Biden is still president. It’s not going to get better. And how the heck do you get third Trump presidential win? He’s not going to win in 24. He definitely didn’t win in 20and he didn’t even win the popular vote in 16.

I don’t think I have ever heard anything more ridiculous than your idea Clinton should be disqualified because of his middle name. In the first place, do we even know he was named after Thomas? Maybe he was named after George Jefferson. In the second, why should he be punished for the actions of someone 200 years ago.

FWIW: It's taken as fact amongst some aged race-trackers that our 42nd president is actually a non-registered Ohio bred sired by a tall, eccentric, ne'er do well trainer who fancied himself quite the intellectual and whose bent on pontificating left an indelible impression in the (old) River Downs rec hall.
Although his name now eludes me, it might have been Russell. I once saw a picture of him, and the resemblance is uncanny.
Clinton's mother, of course, was an avid horse bettor.
