The handwriting is clearly on the wall for what is in our near future. Coming soon will be the digitalization of all currency which means the government will not only know what we spend every nickel on, but it will give them control over all our assets. And the big push for "everything electrical" means we'll all be tied in to the grid for literally everything, which will make it very easy for the government to control our usage. Ultimately, the game plan will be for the U.S. to emulate the CCP by developing a Social Score System and those who don't play nice with the government will easily be penalized with a few keystrokes. The government will easily be able to seize our assets, which means sheeple-resisters won't be able engage in commerce at all. Or they could opt for less restrictive measure by restricting travel by locking resisters out of all transportation modes. Or the government will be able to turn off the electricity of rebels for a few days , etc. It'll be very easy to make life quite miserable for those who cannot trust the government "organically".
Somewhere along the way, ownership of a smart phone will be required by law. This is how the government will stay in touch with us and monitor all our private conversations. Not sure how they'll pull this off, although it shouldn't be too difficult since the vast majority of us are already addicted to our smart phones.
