How screwed up is the country? It is 1230pm EST the day after the election and the results are far from complete. WTF is that, PERIOD.

In PA, a deceased state representative, Anthony DeLuca, was re-elected yesterday. Mr DeLuca unfortunately passed on Oct 9.

Regardless of party, people vote for a deceased candidate to ensure another election. If you don’t, the opposition wins.

Wonder how many dead people voted for him. Dems were seen canvassing local cemeteries.

Correct. It says so right in the article and seems reasonable to me...

What many of them were likely actually voting for was the opportunity to have a special election. They probably saw that as being preferable to supporting the Green Party candidate. Queonia “Zarah” Livingston had run on a platform promising to promote “environmental justice,” end the war on drugs, and “reduce gun violence.” We’re talking about a fairly rural district, despite the fact that Democrats seem to hold an advantage there. Gun control and drug legalization were not likely to be winning themes.

Yes I don't get it. We have 34 million people in our country more than in many of your states and we know are winner by 11pm. I really don't know what the issue is with some of theses states. Florida is really fast, then you have Arizona which doesn't have a clue.

I saw a bumper sticker a while back that said: "When I die don't let me vote for a Democrat."

In some states it takes time, sometimes days, to figure out how many votes are needed to put someone over the top. You want to be sure to have enough votes but not make it overwhelming.
