And they have plenty of time through the wee hours to make sure Walker, Laxalt and Johnson all lose the close ones...or at least 2 of the 3...that's all they need to retain control of the Senate.

Georgia...Nevada...Wisconsin...where have I heard those names before? LMAO

don't blame me, i voted for mccormick in the primary.

maybe blame trump for pushing a few hundred extra rednecks onto a guy who was going to be repeatedly labeled as an out of state, quack tv doctor? idk? i'm not a politics expert.

anyhow, now this overgrown child is my senator.

There's almost no doubt they didn't win the Senate because of Trump.

Trump has a large loyal hardcore following. So he has a major impact on primaries where it's all republicans voting. But Trump also has a lot of people that hate him, including many republicans. So his influence in a general election is much lower. For the life of me I don't understand how PENN could vote for Fetterman. He's literally the only candidate in US history that has fewer functioning brain cells that Biden, but if you are trying your hardest to lose to a brain dead guy you couldn't do better than putting Oz out there to face him.

Trump sat on his PAC money and did nothing.

And I don't get why anyone is shocked by Fetterman. It's a party vote where it was obvious the Dem would win Governor so if he leaves their set. And I don't think any Trump supporters would have moved their vote to Fetterman if Oz had a stroke. At best they wouldn't vote.

The two solid Republican winners last night were people who actually stood up to Trump or just ignored him while they were in office, Kemp and DeSantis.

I agree.
Trump endorsed but did not follow up financially.
He can't use his PAC money on his Presidential campaign, so I can't understand why he is hoarding it.

Is is safe enough to say that Trump is hurting the Republicans more than helping them. I think most of the people he endorsed lost especially in swing states.

Come on man... Democrats installed demented diaper Joe Briben. Why not add another puppet to the cast in the Senate. Brain dead is the Democrats base.

Maybe next time the R shouldn’t run an out of state snake oil salesman.

i know about 10 people that moved to Florida during the pandemic because they liked the way Desantis handled the state. there must have been millions more that moved for the same reason. Florida turned out to be nothing short of a big blowout for the Republicans. Desantis didn't let Trump turn that state into a shit show like he has done to the rest of America.

Lambo and Class Handicapper...YOU GET IT!

Trump is so hated that most of who he campaigned for lost to horrible candidates.

I thought Trump was a great President, but he is so damn alienating he will never win the presidency. Ever. Even against Biden.

On the other hand Desantis will win by a landslide as he did in Florida and he carried every Republican in the state with him.

Maybe you just need to live here to get it.

He and Kemp landslide winners without any help from Trump.

Republicans need to stop whining about being victims of voter chicanery and realize the problem is Trump. He is toxic to everyone but his base.

I agree on everything.

Trump is not a very likable person in some ways. He had support on POLICY. So many people were willing to look hold their nose and look the other way. But even people that voted for him have had enough. DeSantis is essentially Trump without all the baggage.

DeSantis stands up the vermin in the press, believes in freedom, free enterprise etc.. He would totally destroy someone like Biden.
