Just like people forget about how just about all the major businesses in Europe, Asia were wiped out by a thing called WWII so that the US and Canada had ZERO competition for about 2 decades. The situation AROUND THEM prompted the great economy of the 50's and 60's, not that these countries all of a sudden staerted having businesses overwhelming all competititon: it was wiped off the face of the earth

HERE, a major pandemic, killing MILLIONS internationally so upset the economic standards of just about every economy on EARTH that the otucome is a major contibutor to the economic craziness we see currentl

effect is on a MACRO scale, NOT any particular person.

Asia was poor as dirt prior to WWII, Europe devistated by the stockmarket crash. Hitler's rise was in part to the dispair gripping the german people. Around that time China was nothing .The boom that happened in these United States was more to do with peace and manufacturing that shifted back from making war products to consumer items. No one was ever in position to drive the US economy better than our local companys.

He also said that they were carrying less debt.

I guess Biden, 46 and Mosty are all on the same page.

As long as you do not point out what is more than obvious that they have in common.

Yeah, he heard that from the people that work for Joe in the White House, and who are the closest things he has to a connection to the real world.

Elections coming up in November.

Quote:
The 2022 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. During this midterm election year, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 of the 100 seats in the Senate will be contested. Thirty-nine state and territorial gubernatorial and numerous other state and local elections will also be contested. This will be the first election affected by the redistricting that will follow the 2020 census.
I can't wait to hear the excuses and blames of the Democrats for the poor state of the economy. Uncle Joe's speech writers should be particularly inventive. And Joe will be able to repeat them with a straight face.

i was looking for some numbers during ww11 to compare them.

there are 2 reasons why inflation is so high.. first is the Trump Tariffs, 2nd the Biden sanctions.

both were quite idiotic for the time. it looks like Biden wanted to outdo Trump with the sanctions.

personally, i think the damage has been done, and reversing them won't help much. they are probably going to take us to war soon.

A big cause of the current inflation is the Russia-Ukraine war and its impact on the price of oil. When oil goes up, most everything goes up.

90% of the current inflation occurred before the war in Ukraine. Let's go Brandon!

Biden is hoping voters have as bad of memory as he does. The war in Ukraine did kick in the after burners on a lot of commodities that come out of Russia.
The aluminum and stainless steel I was buying had doubled since a little before Biden took office, the Russian invasion made it hit triple.
