Canada's Team
Been awhile since we won Lord Stanley's Mug and hopefully not the last...
First time was way back in 1896 when the Winnipeg Victorias beat the Montreal Victorias. Everyone really loved the Queen in those days.
It took until 1920 for the Winnipeg Falcons to capture Gold in Antwerp, Belgium.

Caps with a late goal. Helluva game and it's not even the best game on TV tonight. Jets vs Preds WOW.
Tom Wilson will get suspended for at least one game. Former Whaler, love the kid but he does cross the line. He was sneaky good on the last goal taking out the Pens d-man setting up the 2-1 game winner. Congrats CJ. Sorry Idatone. i'll let you two battle it out. My team is eliminated.
I'm rooting for the Jets to win the Cup. Love the way they play. They can beat you pretty or ugly. I think there's three team left that play like that and the Preds are one of them. The other team I don't care for, especially after eliminating my Leafs. Nothing tops Stanley Cup Playoffs. Enjoy......

Congrats CJ. Impressive road win tonight. No Backstrom or Wilson. Caps playing with passion. Not sure you can beat Tampa but will be an excellent series.

oh well pens couldn't 3 peat. mayb to many games over 2 years. and caps goal keeper played real good. pens Murray....not so good. but 5 stanley cups! most of the '66 expansion teams

Just beating Pittsburgh feels like winning the Cup, which says as much about how great Pittsburgh has been as it does about the Caps.

yes the wife and I stated beating the pens was the Caps cup. but tampa is next. listening to 'Burgh radio the talk was pens had trouble 5 on 5 scoring and the PP bailed them out. the Caps penalty killing stopped the pens PP

Predicting a Jets vs Bolts final. I think the Knights were 500-1 to start the season. Someone is eight wins away. The first eight were tough. These last eight will be exhausting. Wouldn't miss it. Good luck to CJ and the Jet fans here. Maybe you'll meet in the finals.....

Obviously this start is better than I could have ever imagined, but I also remember the Caps dropping two home games to start series the last two years (Leafs, Jackets) and coming back to win. Not over by a longshot.

CAPS lost game 3 at home 4-2.
They still lead the series 2 games to 1, but as CAPS fans our history in being up 2-0 and 3-1 in a series gives us reason to be concerned. 
Hoping this year's team is different!
