Thanks guys . I liked him since yesterday. I can use it cause I’m heading down there for the Holy Bull next Saturday. Up till that race it had been a tough day for me . Just liked his record and earnings at the distance . Tactical speed on that track , at that distance is deadly . And I’ve seen him run like this up here (Saratoga ) on the same type of set up .

Maybe not grade 1 caliber fields but that was a good day for a bettor. Full field grades stakes is what racing is all about…

Art Collector

Welcome Back Art Collector.

The elder division is out there for the taking, and Art Collector took full advantage yesterday.

Written off by many (including myself), the Mott trained gem got up off the mat yesterday and delivered a brilliant performance.

Feel the same way

Had some generous payouts with how things went, but the main points are enticing purses grades, full fields, horses we actually know names, wasn't completely dominated by super trainers beyond betability...
Was a good day to play.

Silly Scenario Tarot reading nearly came out.
Key was White Abarrio very sharp and made Defunded earn the first turn just enough.
Art Collector still tough, either way.
Glad, even though I was wrong. Makes for better racing when the chalk isn't gifted a soft start.

$4300 for a dime superfecta.
Really really careless of me to not have it twice.

When horses are allowed to run long enough, they can round back into form. I wouldn't mind seeing a 6yo trained by Mott get some major wins this year.
