I agree with what you are saying Steve and I think your last thought "context of the overall" is THE main reason why I don't go for times. Trying to work the "context" part is the hardest part and for me is just too time consuming.
Anyway to each their own as long as there is some sort of profit at the end of whatever approach everyone uses.
