Well,

We have a Racino here where I live, no showgirls. The casino is restricted to adults only- you couldn have the showgirls there- that shouldn't be a problem.

But, the racetrack is family entertainment. It wouldn't make any sense to have showgirls out on the apron of the racetrack. It would just be a distraction. There are enough distractions w/o that!

The two entities are separated. You need to show valid ID to get into the casino part of the racetrack- no children. Having said that; there are mostly elderly ladies playing the slots. I don't think they'd be interested in the showgirls. So, maybe that's why we don't have them here.

What if there were a Tom Jones or Wayne Newton impersonator with the showgirls?

Looks like you'd have Vegas style entertainment and pack the house!

Fence, nobody's THAT old. If they are, they're already in the cemetary.

This is the sort of classless crap I would have expected from a Hard Rock proposal (a few year ago I made the egregious error of spending one night of my semi-annual Vegas trip and I have never been as happy to check into the Bellagio as I was that next day).
As was previously mentioned, the overwhelming majority of slot players are women and not the type or age for whom really want to have scantily clad female dancers in their face when then are trying to play.

Now on the other hand, I am the local boyz from Ozone Park and the surrounding areas will like it.

The question I have is how many out there actually think there will be more people at Aqueduct playing the races in the unlikely event a casino ever actually happens? Whatever entity does run the slot side is going to be doing everything in their power (including scantily clad girls and most likely free alcohol) to get as many of those butts currently wagering on the horses to their more cushy side of the building. Now there are some that won't spend a penny on the slots, but history has shown at other racinos that the casino side can and will cannibalize the on track handle.
