Oaklawn morning line
Who makes the morning line at Oaklawn?
In Thursday 7th race, Song of Mine, a half sister to Songbird, makes her debut at 8-1 ML. The ML second favorite's best race was 4th, beaten 8 lengths at 20-1. 8/5 is closer to the fact than 8-1.

I would be surprised if lower than Eskimo Kisses with Gary Stevens.

You were correct with the 8/5, but Song of Mine finished like a 8/1

Off topic. I accidentally went to Oaklawn for Sunday the 4th on Equibase, and noticed the first race is for 3yos and up. Earliest anyone seen 3yos run with older? Seems awful early to me. Mid level claimer. I think $20K back.

Easy toss after watching the post parade. She appeared lost and confused. She also had front bandages on. Lots of potential, but needs to mature. If she doesn't, female version of The Green Monkey.

Agree. Very early. Fairgrounds is doing this too. Last weekend 3yo La Bred Givemeaminit broke his maiden against older.
