I am new at this site and trying to read the 200 pages to try and understand. Have played the horses for over 40 years, these posts have been very interesting, but I can honestly say I am completely loss on this software stuff. My eyes are so bad now, glaucoma for years, have trouble concentrating on the form anymore so trying to find another way. But not very computer literate either. Will enjoy keeping up with these posts
Thank you for the posts.

Welcome and thanks for posting....we'll keep you up with what's going on. The software we use is decidely low-tech...mainly because I, like you--got really tired of looking at a computer monitor for the past performances--and decided to come up with ways to get right to the contenders.

Post up anytime

You know...I didn't bother to wait for the results of the last race--I figured we were done for the day at Tampa

Good day all around it looks like--with the E-1 firing again at WRD

No monsters @ MVR...the COMP REPORT was strong...and the HOT LIST managed to score 4 of 8 low-priced winners

I heard a rumor the E-1 METHOD was also doing well at CTX--although I'm not supposed to tell anyone

Sorry Steve....someone else has been on to it as well--so I owe it to PV and PLATINUM users to let everyone in on anything potentially good.

I know you understand completely, bro

Here is the E-1's from the last racing day on the 25th @ Chuck

TOP TWO E 1 / LP HORSES AND 1-2-3 METHOD

I took a look at GP 3/29

There was only one horse in top 2 for E1 and LP as well. That horse won and paid $13.20 The winner happened to be the second choice in both categories.

Interesting, the top 2 E1's hit 4 times with three winners paying $25, $34.20 and $20.40.

If a horses last race was 5 furlongs with no E1 bris number, I looked at the E2 numbers. The top two had 2 winners with a top two E1 and E2 number.

The 1-2-3 method

Hit three short price winners. However, if you expanded your search to the top 2, like the early/late pace concept, then there were 4 winners.

Lastly, combining the two methods I found 4 races where the winner met both criteria.

I plan to look at GP today.

hope this helps from a small one day/track sample

In your above post are you using the 2.5 then the E1 or are you using the

E1 going race by race. Sometimes it gets confusing trying to follow each

post because the recommended way is hit 2.5 then sort E1 and use only the

top 2. Please clarify on how you did it yesterday at GP

Thks

I am just using the top E1 horse at Will Rogers. If two are tied, I bet both.
Started Monday, so far 32 bets 11 wins +61% Roi. If you are using platinum E-1 horses your results should be the same.

Sorry tim....got so many programs and plays going at once---EVEN I get mixed up sometimes.

A Platinum user using j-capper files asked yesterday why his E-1 horses are different from green80's. Not all of them--but the big $25 winner you had, he didn't have.

We talked for a little bit--I explained j-caps are a little bit different in pace and speed figs. The programs are designed for Bris data files...you can still use the jcappers--they will work.

Who knows, you may get some winners that everyone using Bris Data didn't get....but it's recommended to use Bris whenever possible.

Some PACE VIEW old-timers will remember my old play:

TOP POWER--TOP PRIME--TOP EARLY--TOP LATE
A horse that ranks on top (or very near the top)...on all 4 of these is usually a solid play. Just make sure he didn't win his last race--and top out in Speed Rating, or just win a Maiden race and is now moving up.

Whenever handicapping with either program---always check those 4 to start with. Make sure your horse isn't middle-of-the-pack in everything....because that's probably where he will finish.

Most are well-bet so patience is required--forget anything less than 2-1 ML. Give it a try...it works with Platinum and Pro. I did over 100 live plays with this method--right here on this thread--and at the end showed a +$1.15 ROI, with a win% around 35%.

I used it yesterday @ MVR---hit one out of two. Just missed with SWISS MISS TOO--but came back and got ROCK N'BUNNY $5.20 -- later on.

Good Luck today

You have to be careful, the E-1 just works at some tracks, usually the bullring type speed tracks. This can change after a good rain or when the track crew turns the track over.

That is true.

In the past I noticed that the early pace horses tend to do well on a sloppy track.

It could help the E1 and E2 top runners.
