File this under "unbelieveable, but true." Some dude has been emailing management to contend that I'm at the root of some sinister plot to manipulate stakes results by dictating which horses scratch. Or by recruiting runners for the very purpose of scratching. Or something like that. You can't MAKE this stuff up. Welcome to MY world.
On a happier note, had a great talk with incoming owner and his director of racing ops. Sharp, classy guys...I was super-impressed. Even better, they watch the show frequently and were quite cognizant of my complete skill-set. Nancy and I were honored that they wanted a photo with us.
