Woodbine Mohawk Thursday 10/8/20

Just a heads up I will be changing things up a bit. Research has led me to the conclusion that I have to get away from caveman tickets. Most of my betting life I have used various formulas to play pick 6's which eventually evolved into pick 5's and pick 4's and for good reason. It is a better approach. For this reason I will no longer be posting plays. Obviously, if you are looking for affordable caveman plays just focus on the A/B contenders in each race. Instead what I will do is provide my ABC's in each race unless of course I have a single or double. Horses will be posted in post position order not order of preference. A lot of good priced morning lines on my A choices tonight. So either I am way off or the morning line is way off.

Here we go for Thursday

Race 1) A) 1-2 B)3-4-5 C) 6-7
Race 2) having a tough time with this one. 4-5-6-7-8 I think will pull down the winner and a weak A choice would be the 6
Race 3) a)10 B)6-7-8 C)1-2-3-9-10
Race 4) A)8 B) 4-6-7 C) 3-5-9
Race 5) A)9 B) 1-3-6 C) 2-4-5-8-10
Race 6) 4-5 (pretty worthless race from a betting standpoint)
Race 7) A)1 B)2-8 C) 3-4-6 (if you want to single the 1 horse I won't argue-can't say that about anyone else tonight)
Race 8) A)4 B)1-3 C)2-5-6-7-8-10
Race 9) 3-4 (another horrible betting race)
Race 10) A) 10 B)3-9 C) 4-5-6-7
Race 11) A) 3 B)2-4-6-9 C) 1-5-7-8-10

Good luck.

The more I look at the 2nd race the more I just don't like it. I posted earlier that using the 4-5-6-7-8 should get the job done, but the 3 is first time lasix, the 2 looks terrible on the form but has raced decently here in the past when coming to Mohawk and the 1 has some decent running lines prior to getting sick on 8/1 and seems headed the right direction, so honestly I think I need at least 1 through 8 in here. These shippers from the smaller circuits can be a tricky bunch. On the 9 the Trainer/driver is 2% wins as trainer, 0% as driver, he is in the 9 hole, if he beats me I will live with it. Personally, I will likely use the 6 as the A choice, the 4 and 5 as a B choices and see who is getting significant enough action(in the double pool) to toss in as extra B('s). Likely will not be able to formulate an early pick 5 play anyhow, and this is a really tough sequence of races even if I had a good opinion in the 2nd.
