Have you been watching the races? Deep closers don't even know the finish line exists.

You don't like a NW2L in the Preakness?

Bad closers can hit the board if the pace is suicidal. Danzig Moon is the horse I'm backwheeling though.

Soak in the glory my man. You probably took in more than half the AP crowd.

Why did I like Tale of Verve.
There was a lot of speed in the race: AF, Dort, FL, MrZ and DR and TOV had the fastest closing rate coming into the race.

My bets and reply came in before the torrential downfall. You had to throw out all those West Coast horses once it started to rain. They have never heard of this thing called "rain" in California (heavy on the Arnold accent). LOL

Edit: I don't know how you can single AP on top in the Derby and the Preakness and not cash a ticket. But, I did it.

He ran incredibly well. The slop created a speed bias. And he would have been a LOT closer at the end had Divining Rod not fouled him.

Sure they do...It's that thing WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off in the distance..
Unless there are a couple horses entered in the Belmont that will created a stiff pace, closers usually do not do well in the Belmont.
