"Collapsed" in the charts at Laurel?

2 horses listed in equibase charts for Laurel on Sat.

Race 1 the #1A "collapsed post race"
Race 7 the #5 horse "collapsed post race"

Are these heart attacks, bad drugs, or what?

HMMMM.....

Interesting - hadn't noticed that. Was at Laurel on Friday and the track was in great shape.

Well, I dunno what I'm missingm but 3-4 year old horses should have no problem running 6-7 furlongs, without collapsing from heart attacks.

So, something is going on over there at Laurel.

Maryland Owner, they collapsed AFTER the race, so it wouldn't be a matter of track condition, would it? I'm thinking more like heart attacks.

I will say this, LRL is extremely deep and had been extremely dry (cuppy and breaks away) prior to this recent precip. That track is tiring, and some horses hate a track like that. Had the horses been running and/or training over the surface?

Question

Is their a database or website devoted to breakdowns and euthanizing horses? Just asking.
