Now if you had asked for his best performance then it's Tombstone.

His second best movie would be Heat but he's just a supporting player in that one. That movie belongs to De Niro and Pacino.

Also going to add that its a crime that he did not get any serious nominations for his work in Tombstone, he absolutely stole that movie, a movie filled with great actors.
