Thanks coacht...you know you're my main man, my can of spam, my strawberry jam, my Christmas ham.
(damn-I've been in quarantine too long)
Bob...horses have to have a recent race to qualify for a power number. Since GGX and other tracks have been shut down, a lot of entries don't have a recent race. Click #1 power on the interface--every race has at least one horse with a power number.
If your copy of Platinum still doesn't show any...you may have a problem. Let me know, I'll get it taken care of.

Bob: I've never seen that error message. I'm not accusing you or anything--but did you change any code or try to add that scratch program-or maybe something else?
The reason I didn't add that scratch program--it was bigger than the entire Platinum Program.

I like to google certain handicapping words and phrases...and see what pops up. Some interesting, some not.
Don't remember how I found this site called runhorse.com, but there I was. I clicked on a section called "How To Win At The Races".
The first section was on post position--with this bit of advice:
"sprint races around one turn usually favor outside posts, while route races (2 turn races) at longer distances often favor inside post positions"
This sounds like EXACTLY the opposite of what it should say. Shouldn't it say "sprint races around one turn favor the INSIDE POSTS,while route races favor OUTSIDE POSTS"????
It sounds like the author may be from the UK, because they use words like "punters" etc.
The author was probably sh*t-faced on Guinness when he wrote it.
-sorry to our UK bros-- that was a little harsh.

No way - got a question for you tho - from that question about changing the source code is ; are you actually sending out source code ????? I thought you have the source code and then compile an executable object code file and only transmit that.
I did write an application in Qbasic which originated from Basic when it was given for free as a part of Windows , so I have some familiarity with it. But I never created object code just took the source code and executed it.
I am not that familiar with the internal mechanics of the PC - creating object files transmitting them etc., but will say that you should not be sending out source code - if you do some one will perhaps change/add to it and try to market it.
As I previously said I am not that familiar with the architecture of the windows/pc system - so if I do have source code I don't know how to get at it - besides I don't have power/basic compiler would have to buy one.

Bob:
You don't have a very high opinion of me, do you? I'm just glad people like MikeSal know I'm solid.
BTW...you're welcome for the new Platinum program I sent you, Bobby.

Greg - if I did not have a high opinion about you I never would have ordered pace-view from you, nor interfaced with you , In reference to source code the fact that you asked if I changed it - to me this makes me think that I have or might have it that's all.
PS -- thanks for the new version
