As I was walking along the Vegas strip a couple days ago, I happened upon a group of 3 homeless younger guys, who were sitting on the sidewalk while looking distinctly inebriated. One of them was holding a sign with "Fvck You" scribbled on it. "Hey bud...how about a couple bucks for some dope"...the guy with the sigh called out to me. And all this right on the doorstep of a glamorous multi-billion dollar hotel/casino.

Yes, I myself have converted well over 200 street people into homicidal maniacs. Like GEICO (I think) says, it's what we do.

Actually, I was on my way to a restaurant in downtown Seattle when I was accosted by a couple of punks. One did pull a knife with a small blade like a pocket knife and the other a small screwdriver like you might find in a pocket repair kit. At the time I was 5'10", 215 lbs. and 11% body fat. They backed out of the situation (I mean after I swore lifetime fealty to only liberal causes) but I had never seen such aggressive street kids.

I hope you confine that drivel about the liberal dream to PA. Reasonable and sensible liberals in the world outside the right wing bubble would worry about you getting a little to close to the edge.

The majority of the folks here would consider this an oxymoron of the highest order.

Came across some tips for Cult Deprogramming. Might be useful applied to some of the right wing "oxymorons" here.

1- educating the cult member on thought-reform techniques and helping him to recognize those methods in his own cult experience

2- asking questions that encourage the cult member to think in a critical, independent way, helping him to recognize that type of thinking and praising him for it

3- attempting to produce an emotional connection to his former life by introducing objects from his past and having family members share their memories of his pre-cult existence.



On second thought anyone criticizing or trying to help the cult, would immediately be called communist or socialist and consequently I might have to turn in my party membership.

Liberals only wax "reasonable and sensible" when a situation directly affects them. You know how that works, right?

Wind power is the great hope for cheap, reliable energy for the future. Let's build more and more and more windmills --- but just not in my neighborhood.

Or...we as a society must build homeless shelters to take care of the poor and downtrodden and to give them shelter....but, please, please....not in my neighborhood.

Don't we all love H'cap's step two -- that encourages critical and independent thinking. How many times have liberals shouted down or in some other way shut down critical and independent speakers who think differently than liberals do?

Hcap, get in touch with reality. Liberals hate independent, critical thinkers -- unless, of course, such "thinkers" are liberals.
