What is sad they feel the need to lie to promote their agenda. Basically, ever major agenda change championed by the liberal agenda. For example the right to abortion. For example, the argument for a legalized right to abortion was based in a lie. The lie was in Roe is that the woman, had been impregnated through a rape. This lie elicited sympathy over a woman being forced to care for a child who would always remind her of the violence committed against her. The other argument is the fetus is a clump of cells like a tumor.
The woman in Roe was not raped and later regretted her decision to be used by liars. Also, tumors do not have heart beats. Heart beats demonstrate the existence of life.
Just like the lie, by Obama that government health care would not be extended to illegal aliens.
And the big lie told to Americans, that after amnesty the D's in Congress would work with the R's on immigration reform. Still waiting.
Understanding the left pushes lies as a way to achieve their objectives, we need to be aware of the lie and confront the lie. Now they are lying to the American public again that prosecutorial powers, i.e. the power to investigate crimes is a legitimate oversight power of Congress and that the President is causing a Constitutional crisis. Congress is causing the Constitutional crisis.
Another lie is that an investigation into the origin of the Russia investigation is not needed. An investigation into the abuse of power by law enforcement agencies and intelligence agencies is definitely needed.
