discrimination: the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

Every resident of that state is being subjected to the same voting requirements. How is that discrimination?

And the claim that it is discrimination to not allow a resident of one state to vote in a different state is sheer insanity.

Why because you say so? Student IDs are not proof of residency. If you have to prove residency to obtain a firearm permit it is defacto proof of residency. Denying a non-resident or someone who fails to prove residency a right reserved for residents is not discrimination.

Exactly. Liberals define discrimination as unequal outcomes. The fact that college students can't figure out how to get proper ID or how to vote absentee in their home state isn't their fault. Therefore it must be discrimination by the big bad conservatives.

Denying young people educational opprtunities at prestigiuos educational institutions due to subjective grading requirements or lack of wealth is true discrimination.

I guess your acceptable definition of a voter ID is a Obama Phone Selfie.. Yez Dis Be Me.

You know if these... Fools spent as much time and effort as they do whining about voter ID's... to actually help there fellow fools whom they feel are confused by the process or being befuddled by the need. All those that wish to vote could flash that ID and do so.. all that still would not, could.. cause they'd have the required card.

That is just common sense. This is complete insanity:

So, if I can prove that I don't live in a state, it is discrimination to not allow me to vote in that state's elections? How did these people get into college?
These 'students' often have left wing idiots (like some of the cartoon loving numbskulls here on PA) scribble letters of recommendation for them at college admissions offices nationwide.

A state of humiliation when France shows bigger gonads in standing up against Iran than this administration does.

What happened to minority voter participation rates in the 2012 presidential election in states that had instituted new voter ID laws? Don't patronize minorities. They're more than capable of compiling with simple voter ID rules. Why insult them and say (imply) otherwise? We disagree most of the time, but I'm surprised you would take such an attitude toward minorities.

real men and real women do not need to play word games. They get the voter id cards and act like grown ups instead of acting like a spoiled, candy assed whiners.

They can't vote with any ID in a Tennessee election because they are not legal residents of Tennessee. This is apparently too difficult a concept for those who are the future of our country.

Student ID = younger person, going to parties and most likely a net-negative tax payer.
Firearms Permit = a state resident, law-abiding citizen, contributing to public safety.

I don't see a problem.
