legend....was one of the ones. van halen was so big in the early to mid 80's. punk was taking off but they were the biggest rock band.

He lived in the house behind my mom's place in Pasadena back in the 70s/early 80s, and she said he used to steal the apricots off of her tree that was next to the fence along the alley way. Pretty much our closest connection to him. Cancer claims a talented one. Really sad.

Had a big crush on her back in the day. They were married a long time and remained on good terms right to the end, even attending each other's weddings.
