Yeah, position was good. But then he let Paco intimidate him outside (but Paco is a master at that), let another horse inside him so he was boxed in, took up at least twice heading into and through the turn, was shuffled back and backed up behind Paco after they finally straightened and finished the best (although that's subjective).
And the , yeah, I still got a better ride than you by about 10 lengths.
