Travelgate.
The Clinton replaced the employees of the White House Travel office. So what? Those employees are not civil service. They serve at the pleasure of the President. While no legal violations were found against those employees, there is no question that the office was very poorly run
Director Billy Dale kept an off book ledger, was in possession of $18,000 in unaccounted for checks and kept chaotic records. There were allegations of kickbacks. And of favoritism and illegal benefits to some members of the press corp.
The video claims that because of the outcry, the White House was forced to fire the friends of the Clintons who took over the travel office and return the jobs to those had been fired. That's funny because Wikipedia says that American Express took over the job after competitive bidding.
Vince Foster.
Twenty plus years have passed since Vince Foster committed suicide. In all that time there has never been one shred of evidence that anything else happened. In all that time no law enforcement agency has ever charged anyone with anything. There have been Republican administrations both in Washington DC and in Virginia where the body was fined. None of them initiated any time of prosecution. It's all BS.
Hillary Care.
While the program was never passed, that does not mean it would not have been successful. Hillary Clinton herself concedes she could have handled the process better. She is clearly a person who learns from her mistakes.
The video makes reference to $450,000 in fines assessed against Hillary Clinton and others in regards to the creation Hillary Care. Somehow it fails to mention that those fines were overturned on appeal.
Whitewater.
In spite of spending $145 million investigating Whitewater, Republicans were unable to provide any proof of wrongdoing by the Clintons. Much was made in the video of some files that went missing. Yet when those files were later found, it was not claimed in the video that they offered any proof of Clinton guilt. Surely if that proof were there, they would have jumped all over that chance.
Cattlegate.
Yes, the return was high, but not unprecedented in that volatile market.
I'll come back later to debunk the rest. Don't expect me to say anything about Benghazi and the emails. I have beaten that dead horse to death. If that's possible.
